What Is
SaVoix?
sah-VWAH
SaVoix means “his voice” or “her voice” in French. We all have a voice, a story, beliefs and values that make us who we are. SaVoix is here to help amplify that voice, and give individuals the confidence to use it to spread the good. Whether you want to connect one-on-one, or speak in front of hundreds, SaVoix can help empower you to reach your goals.
Communication is the foundation for everything we do.
The
Why
In a world where we are more “connected” than ever, true, basic, communication skills are being lost. We just aren’t talking like we used to, yet the spoken word and connections that come from it are so incredibly powerful. SaVoix hopes to not only empower the 75% of people who are terrified to speak in front of an audience, but get more people talking. Period.
Our
Pillars
Hope
We are nothing without it.
Community
We are stronger together.
Authenticity
That is the most basic part of communication, be true to yourself.
Service
We are here to serve individuals, groups, young, and old. Everyone is loved and welcome here.
Who
Am I?
Michelle Dunaway
I’ve never been afraid of a microphone—in fact, I’ve always felt at home behind one. Whether it was reading aloud in class, jumping into speech and debate, or helping lead our high school’s TV and radio program, I discovered early on that storytelling was something I was meant to do.
Nearly 30 years later, that passion has taken many forms: reporter, anchor, producer, podcast host, content creator, and public speaker. I've also had the honor of serving on several nonprofit boards and committees—roles that have deepened my belief in connection and service as essential parts of life.
While I’m not one to talk much about myself, I’m genuinely excited to listen, learn, and collaborate. I love people. I believe that everyone has a story worth telling, and it’s a privilege to help others share theirs.
Thanks for being here.
